Artist information
Yuri Inoue
Born in Tokyo in 1996. Graduated from the Department of Industrial, Interior and Craft Design, completed the master's program at Musashino Art University.
Focusing on landscapes where the urban and the natural overlap, the artist explores the theme of "awai" (the space in between), where distinct elements intersect.
By utilizing metal and concrete to imbue inorganic materials with a subtle breath of life and soft expressions, the artist investigates the new relationships that emerge between the natural and the artificial, and between hardness and softness.

Haute Moments Gallery vol.1
The Chain Museum is pleased to announce that we oversee the planning and curation of “Haute Moments Gallery,” a new art space within the Mountain Center and NEST813 facilities at NISEKO TOKYU Grand HIRAFU, a world-class ski resort in Hokkaido operated by Tokyu Fudosan Holdings Corporation.
The gallery will host annual exhibitions based on unique curatorial concepts. The inaugural exhibition, titled “Haute Moments Gallery vol. 1,” is set to launch on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
This exhibition features a group presentation by 12 artists whose works resonate with the gallery’s concept.
The show includes both new and past works, all of which will be available for purchase exclusively through the art communication platform “ArtSticker.”

Using traditional craft techniques, I create three-dimensional works in concrete and metal. Inspired by the landscapes I grew up in, I'm drawn to the contrast and harmony between natural and man-made elements. Through form and color I seek to transform the hard, cold image of concrete into something softer and full of life.
