Artist information
Inoue Yuri
Born in 1996 in Tokyo. Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Industrial Design, Department of Metalwork, and completed the same graduate school.
It focuses on landscapes where cities and nature overlap, and the theme is “space (conflict),” where different elements intersect. By using metal and concrete, we are exploring new relationships born between nature and man-made, hardness and softness by harboring subtle breath and soft expressions in inorganic materials.

Sculptor
Using traditional craft techniques, I create three-dimensional works in concrete and metal. Inspired by the landscapes I grew up in, I'm drawn to the contrast and harmony between natural and man-made elements. Through form and color I seek to transform the hard, cold image of concrete into something softer and full of life.
