I Came Upon a Book in Omachi

A project developed from Library in the Street, which has been continued by the people of the Omachi shopping street. With enjoyable encounters through books as the theme, it has been ongoing since 2017. Beginning with the sculptural work Book Children at the station, the project goes around a series of libraries in the street, heading north from the shopping arcade. At the destination of Jimmy’s Bookhouse Ganbariya-san, where you can open books with colorful covers, you may experience a new encounter.
