Work Details

The production is carried out using the method of creating a landscape by likening the screen to something like a garden and arranging images. It explores the possibilities of spatial recognition in the medium of painting (flat surface), where various objects and objects are converted into simple forms and colors and presented as a new landscape named “scene” on a screen. 2015 Kyoto City University of Art Graduate School Ph.D. (2nd semester) Program in Japanese Painting, Graduate School of Fine Arts (Doctor of Fine Arts) 2016-2019 Saga Junior College of Art, Department of Fine Arts, Department of Japanese Painting, Full-time Lecturer 2019- Kyoto City University of Art -Solo Exhibitions- 2012 “Glassland - Prairie” (Gallery Keifu/Kyoto) 2013 “Utatane View” (Sukiwa, Tokyo, Otsu) 2016 “Diankei” (Gallery Keifu/Kyoto) 2018 “About Mountains” (Gallery Keifu/Kyoto) 2020 “Thinking Landscapes” (Gallery Keifu/Kyoto) 2021 “Möbius Loop” (+1art/Osaka) 2022 “Longing for a Prism” (Gallery Keifu/Kyoto) 2023 Public Art Museum Special Exhibition #2 (curated by Ryuhei Fujita, Kyoto City Outdoors) -Major Group Exhibitions- 2012 Selected for the 30th Ueno Royal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition Selected for the 38th Kyoto Spring Art Exhibition (every year since then, 2014 Spring Exhibition Award) Selected for the 39th Art Exhibition (every year thereafter) 2015 2nd consecutive “Kyoto New Japanese Painting Exhibition” (16/19) Selected for the 8th Kiyosu Haruhi Triennale 2016 Rinpa 400th Anniversary Emerging Selection Exhibition-Rinpa FOREVER- (Kyoto Culture Museum/Kyoto) 2017 Duo Exhibition “Inline and Externality - Soft Touch” (+1 art/Osaka) “ART Machiya STAY” - Hare and K (Hermitage, Sujiyacho Machiya, Kyoto) 2018 Kyoto Art for Tomorrow - Kyoto Prefecture Emerging Artists Selection Exhibition 2018 (same year 16) SAGA TRIMAGES (Saga Art University/Saga Junior College Museum, Gallery Arashi/Kyoto) 2019 Three-Person Exhibition “How to Scale Mars” (PORTA GALLERY HANA/KYOTO) Kyoto Japanese Painting New Exhibition in Nijo Castle (Nijo Castle Kitchen Ukiyosho, Kyoto) “Little Us” Malala Foundation Charity Auction (+1 art/Osaka) Selected for the Shell Art Award (The National Art Center, Tokyo) 2020 Three-Person Exhibition “Transparent” (2kwgallery/Shiga) Three-person exhibition “Japanese Paintings and Painting Theory” Project: Kozo Shioe (Art Apace-Meisei) 2023 FACE2023 selected Sato Sakura Art Museum Flower Cherry Blossom Award Exhibition (Sato Sakura Museum/Tokyo) OPEN PROJECT (Murata Metal Industries/Kyoto) Unravel “Japanese Paintings and Painting Theory” (Contemporary Gallery/Kyoto) prize 2016 Rinpa 400th Anniversary Emerging Selection Exhibition - Rinpa Forever - NHK Kyoto Broadcasting Director's Award 2014 Kyoto Spring Art Exhibition Spring Exhibition Award 2012 “Let's Go to the Gallery 2012” Sukiwa Award projects 2015-2016 Fusuma painting production at Tenwakako Art Project 2016 Fusuma Art Unveiling Event “View of Water and Sound” held (Seki no Sato Tomariki/Nantan City) 2017 Daikakuji “Renge-in” ceiling painting production
