I am making paintings using the Decalcomany technique where another object with paint is pressed against a support and peeled off. The painting is completed by replacing elements constituting physicality, such as the artist's brushstrokes and strokes, with paint patterns and material phenomena that occur accidentally. They mainly used images such as existing paintings and figures to disassemble and regenerate images without involving human consciousness.

Currently, in parallel with this production, I am making abstract color images without using specific images. In this series, we focus more on the material properties of paint by performing decalcomanies with slightly changing color surfaces and various objects with the same paint applied to them.
Despite my own production intentions, I am fascinated by the absurdity of eventually completing a picture due to a natural phenomenon due to a combination of paint and drawing materials that occurs in Decalcomanie.

Extinct migratory fish are fish that live in warm regions that are washed away in areas where they do not live originally, and die without being able to return to their original habitats.

A horizontally long painting with an unnatural ratio may or may not be a work created by dividing a single painting with a different ratio of horizontal length.

Accidental paint patterns formed by peeling off some substance can exist within paintings. The sense of substance created in the colors within the paintings never comes back. The irreversibility of not being able to return to its original state is fixed within the picture screen or in the space where it is displayed reminded of extinct migratory fish.

I want you to walk around the exhibition space where the connection between colors and the division of matter are repeated.
