Touch on a sensitive matter

45.5×65.2×2.5cm

wood panel, arche watercolor paper, acrylic paint, gloss burnished finish

2021

It was when I got involved with a Vietnamese technical intern at work

They were very serious, and they were very quick to remember what they taught, but at first they couldn't get through the words and I was very worried about how to convey them.

Even so, the feeling that I wanted to remember work and be useful through actions and expressions other than words came through clearly, and I learned a lot from that attitude, and after a while, I was able to naturally entrust the work.

It gave shape to the feeling that was hard to put into words at that time, and the happy feeling.

1980 Born in Chiba 2002 Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design, Department of Design and Design He creates works while working as a special painter. I am trying to transform things that are invisible but exist into form as paintings, such as what I feel and think about every day, human relationships, the atmosphere created by people, and the vitality of plants. [About the work] I create with a major theme “things that cannot be seen but exist,” such as the atmosphere of humans and the energy of plants. In recent years, I have gone through a period where I continued to draw to express my own emotions, and I have objectively observed the feelings I had at that time and what I think about every day, and then I have transformed them into acrylic paintings as shapes. I want to communicate with others (differences in how they look, empathy, etc.) by giving shape to feelings and thoughts that cannot be fully explained. I hope you enjoy watching it as a form without any preconceptions at first, and then enjoy the experience of changing the way you see and point of view when you look at the work again after looking at the title. [About my role as a writer] In today's world, due to the diversification of information media, along with the advantages of being able to view the same information from various perspectives, I think the uncertainty of the truth is a disadvantage. I feel that it is becoming more and more important to think with one's own head and feel with one's heart without being misled by information under any circumstances. Contemporary artists living in the same era as their viewers can show, be ironic, and criticize the current situation as it is. We can also suggest the direction we are going in the future. In a modern society where there is a lot of news and information that makes you feel uneasy, if you can show both despair and hope, there are people who laugh out loud and think the same thing. I would like people to sympathize with it, and play a role like a device that makes the mind a little easier. [Favorite Authors, Influenced Artists] Henri Matisse, Shinoda Toko, Keith Haring, Emily Kame Kngwarreye, William Morris, Akutagawa Ryunosuke, Paulo Coelho, Matsumoto Taiyo, Kabuki stage background artists, etc.
