Work Details
Concept and production intention of the work
The “Room Series” is a group of works created by sampling scenes from Yamato paintings and picture scrolls, which are Japanese art drawn since they were established in the Heian period, and created with the intention of creating a new painting space while referring to traditional spatial expressions unique to Japan called “bird's-eye view” and “parallel perspective.”
