Commissioned by The New York Times and published with P. Krugman’s article of the same name title that asking, “Is it possible to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions without destroying the economy?” The leaves and buds sprouting from the paper money prompt the viewer to ponder whether they are eating away at the economy, or whether they are growing in harmony with it as a source of sustenance.
