Teruya, who was participating in Maebashi City’s residency program at the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake, cut into the Jomo Shimbun from March 12 to 18 to start what he could, and started about 300 plant sprouts. This work was donated to Maebashi City through the “Future Buds Foster Parent Project,” in which any citizen can participate in a joint purchase for a small fee.
