Work Details
The Tough Trap, 2026, 80 x 100 cm, Oil on linen (framed)
Furry sits inside his car, entering a private space where hidden emotions can emerge. Away from social constraints, even those who are usually composed may reveal their suppressed anger, frustrations, and darker impulses. The work explores how a sense of safety and isolation can become a place where unexpressed feelings are collected and harmful actions may surface.

Aof Smith completed his Master of Fine Arts Program in Visual Arts, KMITL, Thailand in 2013 and has been based in Bangkok ever since. Smith creates a strange world in which disparate elements—such as lovable characters, artificial objects and waste, and themes with humor and irony—blend seamlessly, using fantasy to reveal the contradictions and fragility of society. He has become an artist at the forefront of the Thai art scene with his remarkable expression and originality.
