Work Details
Masquerade (Malylyn)
This is the third installment in the Masquerade series,
It featured a familiar and famous girlfriend.
With a bewitching pose and a mysterious smile on her face, she continues to fascinate many people over time,
What kind of person was he?
Mysteries Call Mysteries, and I created Her with my own interpretation.
Marilyn Monroe — a symbol of the 20th century and a symbol for the “female image” in visual culture. By putting a mask on her, this work reveals the quiet essence hidden behind the glamor that was created.
Golden hair, red lips, white dress. Angel wings are attached to a well-known woman, and a festive red and gold background envelops her. However, behind that gaze, loneliness, prayer, and the weight of being “seen” quietly dwell.
A mask is a device for asking questions, not for hiding. This work gives a new layer to the symbol Marilyn and shakes the viewer's own memories and perspectives.

Ultramodern Artist
In 2018, she encountered henna art while volunteering at an Indian cultural event held in Japan. Tintricate patterns drawn on arms and hands captivated her, and tracing them with a brush pen led to the emergence of her signature style—delicate yet bold lines. This marked the beginning of her artistic journey, which formally began in 2019.
Without formal art education, she developed a free-spirited approach, exhibiting works both domestically and internationally. In 2021, she received the Hermès International Grand Prize and a national art award. Her 1st solo exhibition was held in 2022, followed by a major show at Daimaru Tenjin in 2024.
In 2025, she presented her first installation themed “Borderless Without travel,” inviting viewers to experience invisible crossings through spatial composition.
