Work Details
An abstract space that opens up deep into silence and looks like another landscape.
A black and white sky pigment-printed on transparent film is collaged on a ground decorated with pastels, acrylic paints, and metallic paints.
It's a calm, meditative piece that makes you feel like you're floating.
This work is offered as an open edition multiple piece, and since it is hand-finished one by one, there are slight differences between each.
If you keep an eye on it, you will find a moment where you can take a quiet, deep breath.
It's framed and ready to hang.
An artist-signed label is affixed to the back of the frame.

Artist
Painter & Collagist
A mixed-media painting and collage artist who creates through a process of “chance and choice.” Zelan is exploring ways to give shape to “emptiness” where all phenomena only occur once and are related to each other, using techniques such as collages, monotypes (one-point prints), and AI to obtain forms by utilizing chance. Besides solo exhibitions, she has participated in art fairs and group exhibitions such as Kudoyama Art Festival (Wakayama), Iwakuni Biennale (Yamaguchi), and Kyoto Art Center's Geibunkyo Exhibition. She has won multiple awards at FEI Global Print Award and other competitions and others.
