Work Details
This work depicts the motifs of the present, the “future” that unseen extends above it, and the “passage of time” connecting them. It depicts a multidimensional space where fluctuations in reality, slight anxiety, and expectations for the unknown blend intricately. The overlapping layers of blue and light invite the audience into a profound world where everyday life and other dimensions intersect.

韓国・弘益大学校美術大学および同大学院で絵画を学び、ニューヨーク工科大学大学院を修了。韓国やニューヨークでの活動を経て、現在日本を拠点に制作活動を行っている。記憶、時間、場所の境界をテーマに、青や紫を基調とした色彩、幾重にも重なる層、光の痕跡を通して、かつて確かに存在しながらも、今はもう戻ることのできない場所や時間を表現している。近年は、絵具の筆致から偶然生まれる人や生命の気配を取り入れ、抽象と具象の境界を探求している。
