Work Details

Stranger

I traced back my past uploaded on the internet and randomly depicted words that I have no memory of. Though I don't remember them, they remain vividly recorded online.

I believe myself to be the same "me" as always, yet I cannot see the person I once was as myself.

This work is a self-portrait of a "me" who feels like a stranger.

For this piece, I selected certain images from the vast number of AI-generated artworks output during my manga production and arranged them into comic panels.

The AI-generated images were traced by hand, and the coloring was extracted from the original AI images.

*This work is mounted on a wooden panel.
