夜に降る景色 -時計- "night voyage -clock-"

ナフタリンで象られた時計が、 ガラスの箱の中に収められている。 ナフタリンの昇華により徐々に彫刻はその形を失うが、 昇華したナフタリンはケ一ス内で再結晶し、存在を続けていく。 それは時間を示す時計の存在自体が、時間と共に変成することで存在と時間の率直で深遠な関係を表している。それは歴史と我々の存在の隠喩でもあるだろう。

The sculpture of a clock made of naphthalene sits encased in a glass box. The sculpture gradually loses its shape due to the sublimation of naphthalene, but the sublimated naphthalene recrystallizes, remaining inside the case. The very existence of a device for telling time undergoes metamorphosis with the passage of time, representing the direct and profound relationship between existence and time. This is also a metaphor for history and our own existence.
