He studied industrial design at Chiba University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Design, and conducted research on formative aspects of design at the same graduate school. He began creating two-dimensional works while attending graduate school, and presented his works at solo exhibitions etc. from around 2000.
Production continues, focusing on the spatial nature of new images created by combining and reconstructing forms through the viewer's experiences and memories.
