Raspberry 318-410-3-3

This work is part of a series of paintings drawn through the process of taking photographs of flowers and plants found in everyday life and then decomposing and reconstructing those images on a computer. A picture of a raspberry is used here.

It is a common motif called “flower,” which has been drawn for a long time regardless of east or west, and we are trying to express new possibilities by reconstructing the various forms and colors contained in it.

By decomposing a photograph into a flat color surface, the elements that formed the original image lose their role as structures and change to parallel entities.

In this process, by erasing shapes and connecting different parts, elements that originally existed in different places are connected, and a new visual space is created.

The goal is to comfortably stimulate viewers by intersecting the relationship between the abstract and easily reversed diagrams and the atmosphere of the original plants.
