About the work
This work is part of a series created for the 2021 group exhibition "What Would I Do in That Situation?: The Drawers of Printmaking" (Geidai Art Plaza, Tokyo).
The series unfolds within the setting of a fictional beach resort, where its own narrative gradually emerges.
This work depicts a scene in which the boys from the flower shop come to the aid of a bear that has been frightened by a hissing cat.
