About the work
This work was created in 2018. It is part of a series, in dialogue with "The death of a girl and the dismantling of memory" (2018). It depicts a figure in a comatose state inside a tank of sugar water, after extracting the film of memories from within the abdomen. As with the other work in the series, I used a ballpoint pen, which is unusual in my practice.
