Work Details
I imagined the space of this painting as a kind of refuge whilst at the same time drawing inspiration from more artifical art forms such as nail art. These nails adorn the top of the painting. The thick, quite crusty paint, gives the painting an almost 3-D look in places.
平面中央の空白は、どこか避難場のような空間を象り、またネイルアートのような芸術表現から着想を得たイメージを合わせました。作品上部にはネイルが飾られ、ところどころ厚みのある外皮のような絵具が、立体的な表情を与えています。
