Work Details
2011年、安藤忠雄氏の設計により創設された、自然光のみの美術館。一切の人口照明がない展示室では、四季や天気、そして昇りまた沈む陽の動きによって刻一刻と変化する光の中に身をおくこととなります。無機質なコンクリートの空間に差し込む光の美しさを最大限に使った、まさに安藤氏ならではの建築と言えるでしょう。展示アーティストはアントニ・クラーベ。ピカソの後継者と謳われた逸材です。
Today Tadao Ando is a well known architect around the world. He designed this museum with use of natural light and for structures that follow natural form of the landscape.
