WOW Edition｜BLUE STICKS

清涼感を感じる印象的なブルー。アルミのメタリックな質感が青をより鮮やかに引き立てる。

ディテールの異なるグラフィックは視点を変えることで立体感を感じる錯視効果を生み出している。

精緻に描写された角柱をアルミニウムペーパーに印刷。作品に合わせミリ単位で特注した透明のアクリルボックスフレームに本作を封じ込めた。未知の物質を検出するための、ラボラトリーのような雰囲気をイメージした額装。

Thanks to its printing on paper with thin aluminum affixed to it, the blue stands out even more clearly.

This blue, with its cool impression, can be felt three-dimensionally by changing between points of view of the graphic, revealing different details.

This work leaves an impression with its delicate depiction formed by aluminum paper and sharp prisms. This work is encased by a completely clear acrylic box frame measured down to the millimeter that was specifically ordered to match the work. The framing was done to evoke the image of a laboratory for detecting unknown substances.

WOW Editionについて

ビジュアルデザインスタジオWOWの映像作品の世界観を踏襲し、さまざまな印刷手法と素材を用いて1枚の絵として新たな作品として発表するプロジェクト。デジタル情報がますますリアリティ（＝存在感）を増しつつある中、非物質である映像作品と住空間などの融合を試みる作品「motion texture 02」をベースに、映像の世界観を “一枚のリアリティ” として印刷（＝物質化）し、アートピースとして展開。

About the “WOW Edition”

“WOW Edition” project follows the world of visual design studio WOW’s video work, and presents it as one new artwork using various printing methods and materials. As the digital information increases its reality (presence), the outlook of the visual world is materialized as “one piece of reality,” based on the work “motion texture 02” fusing living space and non-material images.

誕生／成長／発酵／崩壊ーー。異なる材質、有機的なモーションによって生み出される多様な現象をテーマに、客観的な視点でその様相を捉えた作品。

Birth / Growth / Fermentation / Decay The artwork captures the diverse phenomena created by various materials and organic motions from objective perspective.
