この作品は2つの要素で構成されています。

一番下のレイヤーには漫画における表現技法の1つであるカケアミを用いたペン画

その上には、半透明の用紙に何か設計図のような

図面が印刷されたものにパステルで色づけしたのを載せました。

元々漫画におけるカケアミ技法は登場人物の感情の機微を視覚的に表した、

とても曖昧な表現です。

これに対し設計図というとても具体的な表現である画像を載せることによって

・曖昧な表現に何か特別な意味が孕んでいるのではないか

もしくは

・具体的な表現だけど実は曖昧な要素も混じった作品なのではないか

といった具合に絵画鑑賞における奥行きを出せるのではないか？

と思索した結果、生み出された作品となります。

This work is made up of two elements.

The bottom layer is a pen drawing by using cross-hatching (called Kakeami), an expression technique in manga.

On top of that, I used pastel colors on a translucent sheet of paper on which

similar like a blueprint was printed.

Originally, the Kakeami technique in manga was a very ambiguous way of visually expressing the subtleties of the characters' emotions.

In contrast, I thought it would be possible to create a sense of depth in the appreciation of painting by placing a concrete expression in the form of a blueprint, as shown below. As a result, this work was created.

By adding a very concrete image of a blueprint, the reader may wonder if the ambiguous expression has a special meaning, or it may be a concrete expression, but in fact it is a work with ambiguous elements mixed in.
