自然、強いては命の気配(エネルギー)を描いている。

即興的に描き出す線と素材の蓄積は、命の動きと集まりを表している。

ここでいう「自然」というのは「森羅万象」であり、 人間を包み込む周囲の空間としての自然、その空間に在る生命体が発するエネルギーが、 人間、社会、そして自然を相互に関連づけていると考えている。

命の気配を描く一方で壁やグラフティのように見えると言われることがある。 それは私が東京で生まれ育ったことにより、逆に自然に興味を持ったこと、 そして、アメリカの留学を通しグラフティに接する機会が多かったこと同時に、 モンゴルや日本の諸島などで生活するなど、 人間と人工物が多く占める環境と、自然が多い環境を行き来している経験からだと思われる。

そして近年では、様々な国や地域に滞在しながら制作を行っている。

私たちは、一人一人はちっぽけな存在だが、多くの命が集まり、この大きな宇宙を作っている。 だから、世界は美しい。

Drawing nature, especially the presence of natural life’s energy.The improvised lines and the accumulation of materials represent the movement and gathering of life.

In addition, I also make animations.Observing the movement of nature, through videos which I take regularly, and use it for paintings and animations.

"Nature" here means "shinrabansho" (the whole of creation).Nature is not as a separate object but as the surrounding space that encompasses humans, and the energy emitted by the forms of life within this space is what mutually connects humans, society, and nature.

Sometimes people say, it also looks like a wall or the graffiti art.Maybe that's because I was born and raised in Tokyo, and rather interested in "nature".Also, I had many opportunities to see graffiti arts while studying in the United States, and to stay in Mongolia or the Japanese islands surrounded by beautiful nature.My arts are based on like this experiences of moving back and forth between the environment where humans and man- made things are abundant and the environment where nature is abundant.

And in recent years, I have been working while staying in various countries and environments.

Each of us is a tiny creature, but many lives are gathered together and create this large universe. That's why the world is beautiful.
