EN. Un Yamada Solo Dance with "Hitogata"

加藤泉の新作彫刻と山田うんのダンスが出会う場はGallery＆Restaurant舞台裏。ダンスのインスピレーション源について、山田うんは、次のように語ります。

“新しいスペースの誕生を祝う踊りの宴というか縁というか円というか...新しい場所で新しい生き物が生まれる、というイメージです”

山田と共に場を作り上げるのは、現代アーティストの加藤泉による巨大な人がた像の《Untitled》。重量感を持ちながらも、暗闇でぼんやりと光を受けて浮遊する人がた像との対話、コラボレーションをぜひお楽しみください。パフォーマンスの前後には、舞台裏のシェフがつくる自家製酵母のパンや低温調理したローストポークなどをつまみに、シェフセレクトのワインで乾杯していただけます。幕引きの後はダンサーや関係者と舞台裏で打ち上げをしているような感覚をお楽しみください。

Gallery & Restaurant BUTAIURA is becoming a meeting place for Izumi Kato's new sculpture and Un Yamada's dance. Regarding the source of inspiration for the dance, Un Yamada says

"It's a dance feast, or a relation, or a circle, celebrating the birth of a new space... It's an image of a new creature being born in a new place."

Rising behind Yamada is "Untitled," a giant monumental figure which is created by contemporary artist Izumi Kato.

Please enjoy the dialogue and collaboration with the human figure, which has a sense of weight, yet floats in the dark, dimly lit.

Before and after the performance, you can indulge in house-made sourdough bread and slow-cooked roast pork prepared by the backstage chef, accompanied by a toast with a chef-selected wine. After the curtains fall, you can savor the feeling of an afterparty backstage with dancers and others involved.

器械体操、バレエ、舞踏、などの経験を経て、1996年から創作をはじめる。ダンサー、振付家、演出家としてダンス、演劇、オペラ、また脚本や作詞なども手がけるなど、ジャンルの扉を開放し、時代に呼応する作品を発表し続けている。近年では東京2020オリンピック閉会式Director of Choreographerとして活躍。平成26年度（第65回）芸術選奨文部科学大臣新人賞、令和元年（第 37回）江口隆哉賞など受賞多数。平成28年度文化庁文化交流使として欧米、中東、アジア、アフリカ、オセアニア11カ国23都市にて公演や指導などの活動を行なった。

After having experience in gymnastics, ballet, and Butoh, she began creating her own works in 1996. As a dancer, choreographer, and director, she has worked in dance, theater, and opera, as well as writing scripts and lyrics, opening the doors of genres and creating works that respond to the times. In recent years, she served as Director of Choreographer for the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. She has received numerous awards, including the 65th Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Art Encouragement Prize for New Artists in 2014 and the 37th Takaya Eguchi Award in 2022. As a Cultural Exchange Specialist of the Agency for Cultural Affairs in 2008, she performed and taught in 23 cities in 11 countries in Europe, America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
