Work Details
I am working on depicting the value structure of Japanese aesthetics in modern society under the theme of transboundary nature.
We will be exhibiting at Gallery Gobangura in Gojo, Kyoto.
Production scene
This is a picture of two whales floating in a colorful environment.
It is a picture drawn on the theme of the contradiction called love, and depicts how individuals overlap beyond contradictions.
Acrylic paint and lacquer are used properly, and Japanese techniques such as silver foil baking and spiraling are incorporated.
The production period is approximately 1 month for each work.
Please enter
As a Japanese artist born and raised overseas, I am interested in whether Western values and Japanese values have come to terms with those that have entered Japan after the war, and I would like to take a bird's-eye view of these values in my work.
