Work Details
Based on my experience of sexual violence, I created an air mix lottery machine that visualizes "people's attitudes toward victims of sexual violence."
The lottery machine is filled with lottery tickets that include words actually said to the victims.
Currently, one in 24 people in Japan have experienced sexual violence, but about 60% of them keep their experiences secret. ＊
The situation is to a large extent related to a bad reception by public opinion.
This art piece is intended to change the society surrounding victims by sharing with people the seriousness of such secondary damage.
