私は絵画のフィクション(作りもの)性に着目した作品の制作を行なっています。絵画において明白であるこの要素を、別の角度から捉えることで、新たな視覚・美的経験を得られると考え制作します。具体的には写真の印刷物を構成したイメージを下図とし、そのような「作られた空間」を通しての絵画化を試みています。

I am interested in the reality contained in images generated as “fiction,” and I am creating it. Traditional and conventional topics are presented as a collage-like screen with expressions drawn by hand as if an existing photograph had been attached. I'm trying to explore a different kind of realistic existence that appears between “imitating” and “revealing” a painting image.
