偶然人の形を成した水中に落ちゆく墨の模様を撮影し、写真をもとに絵画で再構築した。人に見える瞬間は一瞬であり、次の瞬間にはただの淀みに変わり、やがて水中全体も透明から灰色一色となる。この一連の芸術的な瞬間を永遠に引き延ばすことで自分の描くべきものを見つけられたような感じがする。
鮮やかな赤は生命の色であり、始まりと終わりの色である白と黒に挟まれてこそ鮮やかに輝く、そのように考えている。
