I photographed a pattern of ink falling into the water, which happened to take the shape of a person, and reconstructed it with a painting based on the photograph. The moment people can see it is instantaneous, and the next moment it just changes to stagnation, and eventually the entire water changes from transparent to gray. I feel like I was able to find something I needed to draw by prolonging this series of artistic moments forever.
I think bright red is the color of life, and it shines brightly only when sandwiched between white and black, which are the colors of the beginning and end.
