Work Details
自他を区別する「膜」をテーマとした作品で、自分や他者、その区別を描くのではなく、間にある膜それ自体を描いています。
禅における「無」の状態とは、考え事を無くすや自我を無くすという意味ではなく、自他の境界を無くすという意味です。そこで、自他の境界である皮膚という膜を「body II」と「bodyIII」を通して内と外から描きました。

1990年生まれ。神戸大学発達科学部人間表現学科卒業後、同大学院博士前期課程人間発達環境学研究科人間表現専攻修了。即興性・非再現性を取り入れつつ制作される作品は、神話や儀式、伝承、風習といった人類固有のモチーフと接続されることで、偶然と必然、普遍と固有、矛盾する感覚が同時に成立する体験を探求しています。
