Work Details
月の裏側(other side)の温度や香りを想像して描いた作品です。ニーチェの著書『善悪の彼岸』に「怪物と闘う者は、その過程で自らが怪物と化さぬよう心せよ。おまえが長く深淵を覗くならば、深淵もまた等しくおまえを見返すのだ。」という言葉があるように、月を見ると月からもこちらを見返す自分がいる感覚があります。本作は、other side（向こう側）を描いた作品ですが、同時に自分自身（こちら側）でもあります。

1990年生まれ。神戸大学発達科学部人間表現学科卒業後、同大学院博士前期課程人間発達環境学研究科人間表現専攻修了。即興性・非再現性を取り入れつつ制作される作品は、神話や儀式、伝承、風習といった人類固有のモチーフと接続されることで、偶然と必然、普遍と固有、矛盾する感覚が同時に成立する体験を探求しています。
