◉ About the Object-Series
“I stop and look closely at the scenery I suddenly see while taking a walk. A flower with rusting galvanized iron and mortar walls exposed to rain and wind, decaying petals and new shoots.” The delicate beauty hidden in the “familiar landscape” captivates me for a moment.
I'm staring at myself, and people passing by, strangely glancing at the destination in their gaze. I wanted someone to stop for a moment and see the ephemeral beauty of the things that exist there; if possible, I wanted to look at them together, and I wanted to share them.
This work recreates such everyday scenes through my own filters. I would be happy if a casual landscape would be an opportunity to see that person's everyday life in just a little bit of color.”
※There is no glass/acrylic plate in the picture frame. There is paint stains on the back of the frame, but it is from when the custom-made frame was repainted by the artist, and it is not a used or defective item. (The sizes listed are framed)
