Work Details
《new born》は旅する家の物語ですが、絵本の世界のトップランナーである荒井良二さんにとっての創作も、地図のない旅のようなもの。制作中のアトリエには、物語の世界観をつくり込むためのメモ描きやスケッチブックがたくさん積まれています。
《new born - drawings #01～#50》は、新作《new born》の構想段階で古い藁半紙に描かれた、まだ絵本作家の空想のなかにしかない物語のワンシーン50景。家のオブジェと同じ、新築施工現場の廃材をリユースしたオリジナルフレームで額装しました。
