作品のコンセプト
私は、自分では線を引くという単純で同じ作業を繰り返しているつもりでも身体性によって段々と線が歪んでいったり、線の濃度や太さが変化していくことが不思議だと思っています。線を引き続けた結果、自分の身体性の蓄積が載っている画面になります。画面上には私が引き続けた線がある、という結果のみが現れます。
私の作品を観た鑑賞者に、この画面上に現れている線は何を表しているのかということを問いかけたいと思い制作しました。

In a contemporary moment marked by the coexistence of diverse media, I seek to create paintings that critically engage with the act of “painting” itself. By minimizing arbitrariness and continuing, day after day, to draw lines in a steady and matter-of-fact manner, my practice aims to foreground painting as an ongoing act of inquiry.
