ステートメント
日々を過ごしていると、ごくたまに、思いがけず心の奥に光が差し込むような瞬間があります。
それは、何気ない繰り返しの中に紛れ込んだ、ほんの小さなきらめきのようなもの。
何かを伝えるでもなく、パッと消えてしまうもの。
明確な意図を持って描こうとするよりも、版に向かい、手を動かしているうちにふいに現れるそうしたものに目を凝らし見逃さないように色や形を拾っていきます。
その過程で出会う形は、自分の中から湧いたというより、遠く離れた場所からそっと届いたようにも感じます。
