Artist Statement
ペン先から描かれる黒い線は、執拗なまでの装飾となり、蛾の羽を震わせ、花の蕾を暴きます。
その緻密な線が重なれば重なるほど、逆説的に「虚無」が色濃く漂いはじめます。
——色は匂へど、散りぬるを。
古来、日本人はこの不可避な滅びを「無常」と呼び、そこにこそ真の美を見出してきました。
美しさが絶頂に達し、零れ落ちるその刹那の残響を感じていただければ幸いです。

1984年群馬県生まれ。
2007年東京造形大学造形学部美術学科絵画専攻領域卒業。
伝統的な日本画にみられる花、蛾、文様などをモチーフに現代の日本文化を象徴するマンガを描く道具（丸ペン）によって紙に黒インク一色で緻密な絵画を描く。その作品はマンガと日本画の親縁性を感じさせる。 日本文化の古典と現代を自由に往還しながら現代的な感性を絵画に吹き込む。
