Work Details
額縁と絵画の関係性を考えた時、
額縁の扱われ方は「必要だが、無いもの」とされています。
美術展において展覧会場では額縁が必要とされますが、
図録では額縁は見事にトリミングされ、必要とされません。
そのさまから私は額縁を“おばけ”という架空の存在に例えることにしました。
このシリーズ作品ではその“おばけ”をテーマに、
額縁と絵画の関係性について再構築した作品を制作しています。
ぜひ、両者の関係性について改めて再考していただければと思います。
