Work Details
“Poppies”
Petals as thin as paper, dry and crinkled like delicate craftwork. In contrast to their sweet faces, the stems twist and turn, covered in fine hairs. There’s something captivating about the curves they draw. When the flower opens, the bud’s outer shell falls away—light and fragile to the touch. Such a delicate imbalance. When deciding which part of this flower to capture, it was the sensual line of the stem that mattered most.

I create my work with a contemporary sensibility and a gently poetic visual language. Using photographs and photo collages taken with a digital camera as esquisses, I shape and refine each piece on the computer.
Throughout my practice, I return to the theme of “the breath of flowers,” exploring quiet moments and subtle tension through color and composition. My work is presented both online and in physical exhibitions.
