Work Details
私の作品のテーマは“流動的瞬間の中にある恒常性”です。動的平衡の様に絶えず変化し続けるからこそ現在の自分を維持できていること、春夏秋冬と繰り返される季節も同じ様で去年と同じでは無いこと、アートマンとブラフマンの関係の様に、流動的であることと相反する恒常的であることが同時に存在するという関係の中にこそ真理があるのではないか、と作品を通して模索しています。
Experiment of medium specificity 「媒体特殊性の実験」自律的な”芸術”とは？”芸術を芸術たらしめているもの”についての絵画的考察をテーマに絵画それ自体が持つ説得力の様なものを表現出来れば思い制作しました。
岩絵具や金箔の素材感を実感できる作品になっておりますので是非実物を目の前で見ていただきたいです。

現代日本画家
2006年東京藝術大学絵画科日本画専攻卒業、2011年同大学大学院美術研究科博士課程日本画研究領域修了、美術研究博士号取得。
2014年東京藝術大学 エメラルド賞 受賞。
2015-2016年文化庁新進芸術家海外派遣制度によりニューヨークに滞在。
2019ローマ教皇来日に伴い、バチカン市国に作品「Psyche」を寄贈。長年研鑽を積んだ日本画の伝統的な技法を基に、箔や岩絵具を用いて新たな表現を展開し、国内外で高く評価されている。
