Work Details
風に揺れる稲穂にインスピレーションを受けたフロアライト／インスタレーション。人感センサーとソレノイドを搭載し、人が近づくと穂が揺れ始め、LEDが灯る。人が離れると、光と揺れがゆっくりと止む。第一回レクサスデザインアワードのグランプリを受賞。

Design Engineer
1985年生まれ、和歌山県出身。2008年東京大学工学部航空宇宙工学科を卒業、2010年同大学院修士課程を修了。2016年英ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート博士課程を修了。同時にロンドンにてTANGENT(タンジェント)を設立。
2013年初代LEXUS DESIGN AWARDグランプリ受賞、他多数。2019年にはエルメスの大型インスタレーションを手掛けたほか、グローブ・トロッターの新シリーズ「エアロ」のデザイン・エンジニアリング・ディレクターを務めた。工学、デザイン、アートと、領域を超えた活動を展開中。
