Work Details
In this work, countless small, organically shaped iron wires are welded together like plant roots to form one large block.
The shape of life that everyone thinks is beautiful is made up of countless cells and blood vessels, and I felt the mystery and unexpectedness of life, and I thought that if sculptures were shaped in the same way, people would be able to feel the same feeling as when they saw life or plants, even if they were created by humans. The rust of iron also expresses the cycle of life, as life decays.

sculptors
I usually create sculptures and drawing using iron as a material. When I started creating my work, I wanted to create something vaguely beautiful. It is the shape of our human body, plants, and life, so-called forms created by nature.
However, instead of expressing them in the form of a surface visible to the eye, when I thought about how they were formed, I felt surprised that they were shaped by countless fine cells and blood vessels, and I thought that if my works were shaped by an accumulation of countless fine things similar to those, they would give viewers the same feeling as when humans saw natural objects, so I created them.
Also, the appeal of the material called iron, which I use as a material, is that it is a natural material even though it is a man-made object. I feel that it is a material that makes you feel the flow of nature, where it rusts, which is a characteristic of iron, living things and plants decay and disappear, and something will decay and disappear someday.
