渋谷の路上や駅などで出くわした出来事とその時に入手したモノを素材に制作した作品シリーズ。

This is a series created with occurrences and items collected from the streets and the train station of Shibuya.

渋谷の居酒屋で、8年ぶりに会う友人とお酒を飲んだ。友人は、この8年間で2度の離婚を経験したらしく、そのいきさつを詳しく話してくれた。その夜、私たちは真っ直ぐ歩けないほど酔っぱらってしまった。次の日、目が覚めると、滞在しているホテルのベッドの上にいた。私は、ホテルに帰るまでの事を断片的にしか思い出せなかった。なぜか私のズボンの左右のポケットには、石が1つずつ入っていた。昼になり、友人から電話があった。友人も昨夜の事は、ほとんど覚えていないらしかった。友人は、「僕のポケットに、石が2つ入っていたけど、なんでだろう？」と笑いながら言った。その日の夕方、昨夜行った居酒屋の前を通った時、私たちのポケットに石が入っていた理由をはっきりと思い出した。私は、友人に電話をしようと迷ったが、結局、電話をしなかった。

At an izakaya in Shibuya, I had some drinks with a friend whom I hadn’t seen for eight years.My friend had went through two divorces during the eight years, and told me what had happened in detail.That night, we got so drunk that we couldn’t walk straight.The next day, I opened my eyes and found myself on the bed of the hotel I was staying at.I could recall only fragments of what had happened before I made it back to my hotel.For some reason, the left and right pockets of my pants each contained a stone.At lunchtime, my friend called.He also couldn’t remember much of last night.He said with a laugh, “Two stones were inside my pockets. How did that happen?”In the evening of the same day, when I passed by the izakaya we were at the night before, I clearly remembered the reason for the stones being in our pockets.I debated whether to call my friend and let him know, but I ended up not calling him.
