作品シリーズ「shrot-term memory」の中の１枚。
”曖昧な記憶”をテーマに過去の写真を切り抜いて再撮影している。
人は殆どの記憶をすぐに忘れてしまうそうだ。
それを短期的記憶“Short-term memory”という。
古いアルバムの写真を切り抜いて様々なモチーフと組み合わせ、再び写真に写している。
デジタル合成は一切せず、フィルムで一発撮りで。
カメラの被写界深度で現実とフィクションの境界線はボケていく。
すぐに消えてしまう、遠い遠い、思い出を眺めているような、曖昧で、どこか懐かしくて、だけど見たことのない風景。
「Short-term memory」という作品シリーズはそんな景色を写した写真作品。
