By repeating the process of blurring the drawn lines with water over and over again, complex expressions appear on a flat, mattiere-free surface.

Born in 1986, from Toyama Prefecture. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University of Art and Design in 2011, majoring in painting. In 2020, I began creating paintings using water-soluble ink, which is the prototype for my current work. Presentations of the "On the Retina" series inspired by the term "retinal painting" by Marcel Duchamp began in 2022.
