Work Details
この作品は、近年制作をしている静物画の作品群の一つです。
タイトル〈Bull〉の通り牡牛座を元に制作をした作品です。
同時期に〈Orion〉オリオン座を元にした作品も制作をしました。
静物画においてモチーフの選択と配置は非常に重要なものです。
背景の銀は数種類の銀を使用しています。
そのため、見ている光や角度によりリンゴの見え方も大きく変わります。
今後も、星座のシリーズを制作し一堂に展示ができたらと考えています。

1991年生まれ。 主に油彩画を用いて日本美術史と自分を繋ぐフィールドをつくるため制作を行っている。 東京藝術大学で油彩画を学ぶ。小津は東洋美術の山水画、浮世絵、洋風画や⻄洋美術のモチーフなど過去の美術作品を参照しながら油彩画を制作し、東洋的絵画空間における画家とモチーフの関係を探索しながら制作活動を行っている。 昨今は「静物画」、「風景画」、「人物画」という絵画の基本な主題を通じながら、東洋的絵画空間にみられる（画家とモチーフとの距離）や（絵画空間の設定）といった関係に注目をして東洋美術を再考するような制作を行なっている。
