Work Details
この作品は現在描いている床の上に静物を置いて描く作品群の前に描いていた作品です。
すでに画面内には床のレンガが映り込み鳥瞰図のような見下げる構図で描き始めていました。
キャンバスは、綿布をオイルでしみ込ませて少し透けているキャンバスです。
この時から、静物画の机の上にモチーフを置くという前提が気になっていて、あまり見たことのない構図で描こうと考えていた作品です。
そして、これらから机を取り除き、床の上に直接リンゴを配置する静物画に流れていきました。
