彫刻の歴史をベースに彫像を考える。絶対的な神を象徴するようなソリッドな立像の時代を経て人間を表現するようになった彫刻の流れの中で人間の動きや感情を表現するためにモデルに様々なポーズが取り入れられるようになった。この作品は現代的な表象を見せつつ彫刻の本質に迫る作品と捉えることができる。

1993 Born in Aichi, Japan 2018 Bachelor’s degree at Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Sculpture, I have been creating sculptures modeled mainly in plaster (gips) and mural paintings on the surface of seawalls constructed after the Great East Japan Earthquake.Since 2020, I have also launched, managed, and produced murals for the “Seawall Museum Project” in Ogatsu-cho, Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture.
