Oriental Lily(2024)

I create my work with a contemporary sensibility and a gently poetic visual language. Using photographs and photo collages taken with a digital camera as esquisses, I shape and refine each piece on the computer. Throughout my practice, I return to the theme of “the breath of flowers,” exploring quiet moments and subtle tension through color and composition. My work is presented both online and in physical exhibitions. She creates works on the themes of the relationship between flowers and colors, and the tension in serenity. It features a unique method for constructing images with layers divided for each color using photographs and digital processes. His works have been presented at international group exhibitions, starting in Tokyo. __________ Artist Statement I capture scenes in which flowers appear as characters. Each flower is part of the cast. I consider where to focus, and what moment to hold. The texture of a petal. The fine hair along a stem. A faint stain that appears over time. And then I decide what kind of dress the flower will wear.
