This is another work from the “Erotic Book” series. Even in this work, which is close to monochrome, the black color makes up a complex layer that sinks deep into the background. Because of the simple colors, the pattern of each part can be perceived quietly and slowly. It is a work with a strong sense of presence.

ロバート・プラットはは1974年ロンドン生まれ。2001年ロイヤル・カレッジ・オブ・アート卒業。2009年京都市立芸術大学大学院博士課程を修了しています。その後21年までミシガン大学美術学部の准教授として勤務したのち、現在は九州産業大学芸術メデイア学部の教授として、福岡にて制作しています。
